Welcome to PetNameMake. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of petnamemake.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

PetNameMake provides a free, informational website offering pet name ideas (for dogs, cats, and other pets), name meanings, origins, a name generator tool, and related articles. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes.

3. No account required

The Service does not require registration. Features such as the name shortlist operate locally in your browser and are not stored on our servers.

The Service — including its name database, articles, design, and the PetNameMake brand — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may browse and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Name ideas themselves (e.g., "Luna") are not owned by anyone; our curation, meanings, and presentation, however, are.

Some underlying name data is sourced from third parties under open licenses (e.g., Behind the Name, CC BY-SA 4.0) or public reports (Rover, Chewy, AKC). Where applicable, attribution is provided on our Methodology & Data Sources page.

5. Third-party content and links

The Service contains links to third-party websites and references third-party data. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Name popularity statistics and trends cited in our articles come from third parties and may change over time.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Name suggestions, meanings, and origins are provided for general informational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee that any name is suitable for your specific pet or situation. Use your own judgment.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetNameMake and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

8. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We may also revise these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
